I have never been much of a golf fan, but like most people, I am familiar with the biggest tournament in golf, The Masters Golf Tournament and the famous “Green Jacket.” This past weekend Bubba Watson won the famous Masters Golf Tournament. What is interesting is the back story on Bubba Watson.
Four years ago, Bubba and his wife Angie started the adoption process. After being turned down a couple of times, they finally got the call to adopt a one-month old baby boy from Florida.
The funny thing is, they picked up Caleb right before Watson was heading off to compete in the Masters. As his wife watched anxiously from home as Watson would make an amazing shot to win the tournament. After winning the biggest tournament in golf, Watson would comment that he would probably be more emotional coming home to his wife and new son than he was after his big win.
